Professor Andy Koronios is the CEO of the SmartSat CRC, a consortium of industry and research organisations developing game changing satellite technologies to catapult Australia into the global space economy. Previously, Andy held the positions of Dean: Industry & Enterprise and Head of the School of Information Technology & Mathematical Sciences, at UniSA. Andy is a professor of information systems and holds academic qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computing and education as well as a PhD from the University of Queensland.

He has extensive experience in both commercial and academic environments and his research areas include data quality, information management & governance, data analytics and the strategic exploitation of information.

Andy has led the establishment of several research concentrations, labs & research centres. He served as the Research Program Leader for System Integration & Interoperability in the CIEAM CRC. He is internationally known for his work in data quality, has been an adjudicator for the European Corporate Data Quality Awards for several years and is the Editor-In-Chief of the International Journal of Information Quality.

He has worked both as a consultant as well as a professional speaker on IT issues in Australia and South East Asia and has over twenty five years’ experience in the academic environment. He is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, a Founding Fellow of the International Institute of Engineering Asset Management and a Distinguished Speaker of the ACM.

Marco Addino is the Accenture Managing Director responsible for the Aerospace, Defense and High Tech markets in the ICEG (Italy, Central Europe and Greece) region.

During his nearly 20 years career at Accenture, Marco has held a variety of leadership roles, including serving as the practice lead for Supply Chain and Operations for 5 years. Marco has worked as transformation architect for multiple European clients in the A&D, High Tech, Industrial Products and Comms & Media industries. His main areas of expertise are around high complexity products engineering, supply chain & operations, customer support & services, digital & technology transformation, organizational design, post merger integration and global service centers design and deployment.

Marco is passionate about music, food and mountaineering; he is married with Laura and they have three daughters Benedetta, Chiara and Celeste.

As CEO of Geospatial Media and Communications, a global geospatial media company, Sanjay Kumar has been evangelizing the growth of geospatial industry worldwide through policy advocacy and strengthening the industry’s engagement with global development agenda. Mr Kumar co-founded the Association of Geospatial Industries in India in 2009, and serves on the Board of Directors of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and Radiant Earth. He has been associated with the United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management (UNGGIM) since its inception, where he represented the Private Sector Network as its Chair till July 2018. He is a Masters in Political Science and M.Phil in International Studies from University of Delhi.

Graduated in Computer Science in 1994, he started his career as an Analyst / Application Programmer working for Financial System (in Salerno) and for Telecommunications (in Rome).

In 1996 he took his first position as Project Manager on TMOS platform Telecommunications Management & Operations Support) at Ericsson Spa in Rome.

In 2000, in Rome, he carried out his first managerial role at Publitel Spa (Business Support Systems Manager) and from 2002 to 2005 he was Director of Information Systems of an emerging company in the TLC services (in Campania Region).

From 2006 to 2014 he was – first – CTO, and then General Manager of MARSEC (Mediterranean Agency for Remote Sensing and Environmental Monitoring), an Italian Public Company.

In 2015, he became General Manager of MAPSAT S.r.l. – an Innovative Startup Company in the Space Economy market – and then the CEO since 2017.

From 2019 he is member of the Technical Committee of the Aerospace District of Campania Region.

From November 2019, he was appointed Chairmen of the Board of GeneGiS GI Srl.

Adam Maher has over 9 years of experience in the satelliteindustry. Prior to founding Ursa, he worked at Space SystemsLoral, serving in technical and business roles. He was leadsystems engineer for two complete satellite builds and satellitelead for four successful commercial satellite proposals. Mr.Maher managed three major IR&D efforts, each resulting inmultiple satellite awards, and was program manager andcapture lead for five US government programs. He helpedestablish a new subsidiary of the parent company and as newbusiness lead, worked closely with three venture capital backed start-ups and was the primarycontact for a major Silicon Valley company.

The Society of Satellite Professionals International awarded Mr. Maher the 2011 PromiseAward at the AIAA 2014 Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala.

Mr. Maher holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, from Cornell University.

Raúl M. KULICHEVSKY is the Executive and Technical Director of the National Commission on Space Activities (CONAE), the Argentine space agency. He is an aeronautical engineer who also holds a Magister in Science and Technology of Materials degree from Sábato Institute of the University of San Martín UNSAM. His exhaustive experience with NATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION (CNEA), I.D ENGINEERING S.A. and CONAE make him a force to be reckoned with in the space industry.

Li Jiping is a computer engineer specialized in aerial remote sensing, founder and CEO of Beijing Vastitude Technology, a Chinese company active in the field of remote sensing and geo-information.

After an EMBA in Economics and Management, Li Jiping took charge of remote sensing image product sales as Sales Director of Beijing Spot Imaging, a public limited company created in 1982 by the French Space Agency, Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), the IGN, and Space Manufacturers (Matra, Alcatel, SSC, etc.).

Before founding Bejing Vastitude Technology, Li Jiping held the position of Vice President of Beijing Eastdawn Information Technology, an independent high-tech Geospatial company providing comprehensive spatial knowledge and solutions for commercial and government customers.

His year of experience in the fields of disaster prevention and remote sensing application earned him the participation, as Senior Member, to the “China Association of Remote Sensing Application”, the “Insurance Society of China”, the “China Association for Disaster Prevention” and the “China Association of Geological Hazard Prevention”.

Besides, in 2018 Li Jiping collaborated to writing “Detection of Building and Infrastructure Instabilities by Automatic Spatiotemporal Analysis of Satellite SAR Interferometry Measurements. Remote Sensing” and “Application of Satellite Remote Sensing Technology in Risk Control of IDI Insurance. Shanghai Insurance Monthly”.

Paolo Minciacchi is Chief Executive Officer of e-GEOS and Geo Information LoB of Telespazio since May 2020.

Born in Rome, Italy, in 1963, he graduated in Electronic Engineering at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1989. In the following year he worked as a researcher at La Sapienza Department of Electronics, conducting analysis on the effect of microwaves on cells.

In 1990 he joins Telespazio S.p.A. (joint-venture between Leonardo 67% and Thales 33%), first as ESA DRS Project - WP Manager and in the following years holds many positions in the management of several satellite missions such as ITALSAT, SAX, SICRAL and EUTELSAT.

In 2000 he is appointed Head of Fucino Space Centre Engineering and Operation Technical Services, being therefore in charge of ground station engineering, automation and technical operational services. In 2002, as Head of Geo-information new services development, he steps into the geo-information scenario to conduct market analysis and find new business opportunities. In 2005 he takes on the position of Head of Geo-Information Application Solutions, focusing on application solutions engineering, development of innovative algorithms, implementation of operating platforms and value added products operational production.

In 2007 he is appointed Executive from the Telespazio Board and Head of Programs & Application solutions and systems, with responsibilities for development, implementation and production of Geo-information products and services and e-GEOS S.p.A. business plan preparation for company incorporation. Coinciding with the establishment of e-GEOS S.p.A., an ASI (20%) / Telespazio (80%) company, in 2009 he steps on as Head of Operational Planning, Industrial Management and Value Added Production at the Company, dealing with operational planning & processes definition, Procurement, Project Management and associated P&L and Cash-flow, Risk Management, value added products engineering and operational production.

In March 2011 he joins Spaceopal (a joint venture by DLR Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanwendungen (GfR) mbH and Telespazio) as Technical Director and Member of the Executive Committee with combined function of the Galileo WP6 and later GSOp Deputy Project Manager. Starting from January, 2018 he takes on as Spaceopal’s new Managing Director in the role of Chief Executing Officer (CEO).
